Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic environments in accordance with health standards
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
• Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment safely and effectively to clean floors, carpets, surfaces, and fixtures
• Conduct outdoor work when necessary, including patio or outdoor space cleaning and maintenance
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper safety techniques
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness of cleaning tools and equipment, ensuring they are well-maintained and sanitized for each use
• Follow time management practices to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
• Support housekeeping management by adhering to company standards and reporting any issues or supplies needed

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings preferred
• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor care, dusting, and surface sanitation
• Experience with cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, use of cleaning detergents, and sanitation best practices
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces or outdoor fixtures
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their cleaning preferences
• Proven time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
