What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Member: Vitality Bowls position at Vitality Bowls?
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service; be positive, extremely polite, and informative to customers
- Assist and ring up customers, answer phone calls, and take orders over the phone
- Follow all recipes and prepare food in a timely and sanitary manner
- Prep food according to proper procedures as required by the Health Department
- Communicate with other staff to ensure all orders are made correctly and timely
- Deliver orders to customers in a timely manner
- Track food quality
- Follow sanitation guidelines
- Keep front lobby and outside area clean
- Continuously and thoroughly clean the kitchen and lobby
- Wash and put away dishes
- Put away deliveries and keep store organized
- Stock and rotate food as required by Health Department codes
- Adhere to store safety procedures
- Practice cost cutting measures
- Pitch in and work as a team
- Show up on time and take breaks for the appropriate length of time
- Complete all opening and closing duties
- Communicate with managers about the schedule, informing them at least 3 days prior to taking time away from work
- Perform additional duties as requested by your manager
- Have thorough knowledge of all of our food and recipes
- Ability to learn the training material and be able to explain health benefits to customers
- A demonstrated ability to effectively interact with customers, peers and supervisors.

- Must follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements as defined by the state of Georgia and Health Department. Meet Food Certification requirements in the state of Georgia.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening.
- Must be able to handle a basic computer, POS system, cash, and credit cards.
- Maintain a clean and work-appropriate personal appearance.
- Come to work with a positive attitude and willing to work well with others.
- Previous restaurant experience a plus.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, and move quickly throughout the store
- Able to lift & carry items up to 40 lbs.
- Able to hear and speak to customers in person and/or by phone.
- Able to see and read on computer screen and paper.
- Able to use hands and fingers to operate POS system etc.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
