Travel PCU / Intermediate Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Charlotte, NC
We’re hiring an experienced PCU / Intermediate Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Charlotte, NC. This is a fast-paced intermediate care unit caring for cardiac, medical/surgical, renal, pulmonary, and post-procedural patients.
Position Details- Travel Pay: $1,824.57/week
- 36 hours/week
- 3x12-hour night shifts: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- 20-week contract
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Every other weekend required
- Self-scheduling based on unit needs
- Floating required, including Cardiac Telemetry as needed
Requirements
- 2 years of PCU / Intermediate Care / Stepdown experience required
- Previous travel experience required; No first-time travelers
- Current BLS, ACLS and NIHSS
- Epic experience required
- Telemetry experience
- IV starts and peripheral line management
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Non-invasive airway management
- Post-cardiac cath and post-cardiac/vascular surgical experience
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start
