Job Type: Per Diem (PRN)
Hourly Rate: $50/hr
Shift: Nights (7:00pm to 7:30am)
Duration: 12 hours
Experience: 1 year of consecutive acute care experience in last 5 years
License: Active Louisiana RN License or compact
Certifications: BLS
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Assess patient conditions and monitor for changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, and ongoing care.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain required records.
Requirements
- Must have 1 year of acute care or rehabilitation hospital experience within the last 5 years.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
- Active and unencumbered Louisiana RN or Compact License
- Active BLS Certification
- Negative TB within last 12 months
- Hep B Series or Titer
- MMR Series or Titer
- Tdap Vaccine within last 10 years or Titer
- Varicella Series or Titer
