What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Specialist - FT position at VitalCaring Group?

As we expand our services in new and existing markets, we're looking for an Administrative Specialist who shares our values of being Trustworthy, Capable, Compassionate, Proactive, and most importantly, called to serve. The Administrative Specialist will provide clerical and administrative support to the branch in concert with our values. The Administrative Specialist serves as the first impression of the branch and initial point of contact for employees, referral sources, patients, and caregivers. In this role, your work impacts the operational excellence of the office, supporting our mission.

As The Administrative Specialist, You Will

  • Welcome visitors at the office, setting the tone as the face of the organization
  • Assist with communications such as answering incoming calls including outbound calls on behalf of the branch
  • Order needed supplies from the appropriate vendor, serving as the main point-of-contact
  • Process mail correspondence, including vendor invoices
  • Assists in updating electronic documents and data entry in applicable systems
  • Prepare administrative orders, packets, and folders for sales team and field clinicians

  • High school diploma, valid state driver’s license and auto liability insurance
  • One year of office experience; in home health or hospice preferred
