Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Rehab | 13-Week Contract
Pay: $47–$53 per hour
Schedule: 3x12 Day Shifts | 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Unit: Acute Rehabilitation (AR)
Vital Workforce Group is hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week Acute Rehab contract. This opportunity is a strong fit for RNs with recent Acute Rehab, Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg), or Long-Term Care (LTC) experience who are comfortable caring for patients with complex medical and rehabilitation needs.
Compensation
- $47/hour – Local candidates or those residing within a 75-mile radius
- $53/hour – Candidates residing more than 75 miles from the facility
- 36 scheduled hours per week
- 13-week contract
Schedule
Shift: Days
Hours: 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week
Experience We're Looking For
Qualified candidates should have at least 2 years of recent RN experience. We are especially interested in nurses with backgrounds in:
- Acute Rehabilitation
- Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg)
- Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing
- Post-Acute or Transitional Care
- Complex patient care
Responsibilities
The RN will provide direct nursing care to patients receiving acute rehabilitation services, including patient assessment, medication administration, care planning, documentation, patient and family education, and coordination with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple patients, recognizing changes in condition, prioritizing care, and supporting patients working toward increased independence and recovery.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
- Current BLS certification
- Acute Rehab, Med/Surg, LTC, skilled nursing, or comparable experience preferred
- Ability to commit to a 13-week assignment
- Strong assessment, documentation, communication, and time-management skills
- Two references one must be a past supervisor reference
