Duties
- Conduct thorough patient observations and physical examinations to assess musculoskeletal health and identify areas of concern
- Develop and implement individualized care plans targeting acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and overall pain relief
- Perform manual therapies including spinal adjustments, soft tissue techniques, and trigger point releases to alleviate discomfort
- Utilize medical imaging results and anatomy knowledge to inform accurate diagnoses and treatment approaches
- Educate patients on injury prevention, occupational health practices, and lifestyle modifications for sustained wellness
- Monitor patient progress through ongoing assessments and modify treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions, and care plans in compliance with medical terminology standards
Requirements
- Valid chiropractic license for Washington, DC
- Proven experience in patient assessment, physical examinations, and primary care chiropractic services
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques
- Expertise in pain management strategies including trigger point therapy and acute pain management techniques
- Ability to observe patient conditions accurately and deliver compassionate patient care
- Familiarity with occupational health principles to support workplace injury recovery and prevention
