As a Vital Paramedic, you will provide advanced emergency and non-emergency medical care, including:
- Responding to 911 and interfacility calls
- Performing ALS assessments and interventions
- Administering medications per Standing Orders
- Interpreting EKGs and operating advanced medical equipment
- Delivering high-quality care throughout transport
- Lifting, transferring, and moving patients safely
- Maintaining accurate Patient Care Reports (PCRs)
- Cleaning, restocking, and maintaining equipment
- Driving an ambulance safely and professionally

Requirements:
Skills, Education & Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Tennessee Paramedic License
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Strong BLS-level proficiency
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills
- Current CPR Certification
Preferred Credentials (Highly Valued)
- ACLS
- PHTLS
- ITLS
- National Registry Paramedic (NREMT-P)

- Situations involving blood and blood-borne pathogens
Physical expectations include:
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling 100 lbs
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and walking
