Part-Time Receptionist
Join our growing tax firm and insurance agency as a Part-Time Receptionist! We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable individual to serve as the welcoming face of our office while supporting our clients and team with daily operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to get their foot in the door and gain hands-on experience in the insurance, tax, or financial services industry. Training will be provided.
Starting Pay
$14.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to text messages, emails, and social media inquiries, and schedule appointments.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with basic insurance-related questions after completing training.
- Direct more complex insurance, tax, or financial questions to the appropriate team member.
- Assist clients with forms, document collection, and general service inquiries.
- Complete data entry and maintain accurate client information.
- Handle client payments and cash transactions accurately.
- Scan, copy, organize, and securely file confidential client documents.
- Conduct appointment reminders, follow-ups, and other client outreach.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and office environment.
- Support the team with other administrative and daily operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to multitask.
- Comfortable speaking with clients by phone, text, email, and in person.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software and office systems.
- Professional appearance and a positive, welcoming attitude.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to complete the E-Verify process.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule and Availability
- Part-time position.
- Open availability Monday through Friday and Saturdays is required.
- Work hours may vary depending on business needs, especially during tax season and health insurance enrollment periods.
- Position is located in Arlington, Texas, near Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital.
