Role Description
We are seeking a full-time and Part-time Nurse Practitioner to join our on-site team in central Florida. The Nurse Practitioner will provide patient-centered care, including assessing, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic health conditions in the assisted living community. The role also includes conducting comprehensive health assessments, developing care plans, educating patients and their families, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, including the ability to assess, treat, and manage a range of acute and chronic conditions
- Proficiency in patient education and health promotion, focusing on preventive care
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Exceptional communication skills to build strong patient relationships and provide empathetic care
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
- Experience in primary care or a similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Current certification from AANP or ANCC
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred
