Vital Education and Supply is a small, woman-owned business in Champaign County, IL. Our business is saving lives. We teach CPR and First Aid classes to private and public sectors. Our mission is to create engaging and fun life-saving training for everyone. We have been in business for 20 years and our customer base is growing.
We are looking for individuals with medical and/or teaching background who are passionate about educating people on the importance of first aid and CPR. Ideally, we need people who can work weekdays, during the day.
You must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
You must be an excellent communicator, a clear orator and present professionally to our commercial customer base.
You must be able to lift and move bulky items up to 40 lbs.
You must represent our life-saving mission enthusiastically.
You will get to choose your own hours, but a commitment of 20 hours per week is most helpful. Please apply if you are available during the day. Typical classes run Monday through Friday, and Saturday mornings. Typical pay for classes is $150 - $300 each class which is roughly $60/hour.
Employment Type - Contract
Responsibilities:
- Drive to and from classes in your personal vehicle. We pay mileage and we are always on time.
- Set up equipment before classes, and pack up equipment after. We provide all the equipment and manikin cleaning is part of the job.
- Lead class in accordance with American Heart Association guidelines using video, lecture and demonstration. An instructor manual, with lesson plans, is provided. It couldn't be easier to teach this class
- Ensure safety of participants and manage class environment.
