Job Overview:
Vital Dermatology is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to provide hands-on patient care while leading our clinical team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily workflow and clinical operations for the Medical Assistant team.
- Train, mentor, and support new and existing staff.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance management, and termination decisions.
- Hold staff accountable to practice policies and expectations.
- Perform all duties of an experienced Medical Assistant, including patient intake, scribing, assisting in procedures, answering clinical calls, reviewing biopsy results, surgery scheduling and medication prior authorization as well as cross-cover for Check In/Check Out.
- Work closely with the physician/owner to identify and resolve staffing and workflow issues.
Qualifications:
- Experienced Medical Assistant
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
- Ability to mulit-task
- Proficiency on computers/iPads is a must as we are a paper-free office
- Previous leadership, training, or supervisory experience preferred
- Dermatology experience preferred
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7am to 4:30pm
Note: No health insurance is currently provided.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
