Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented full time Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. The job would be either full time (35-40 hrs per week) or at least 2 days (Monday and Tuesday needed). Working hours are as follows: Monday-Thursday from (8am-5pm) (until 6pm on Thur). Specific hours are open to discussion and can be accommodated accordingly. Pay is negotiable, based on experience.
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth in accordance with established protocols
- Conduct patient assessments by recording vital signs and reviewing medical histories
- Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control standards
- Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records using EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Support infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean clinical environment
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient experiences
