Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Infusion to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with specialized knowledge in infusion therapy. This role requires excellent patient care skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. As a Registered Nurse in our facility, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing infusion treatments within their homes and within our pharmacy infusion suite.
Responsibilities
- Administer intravenous medications and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients' health status.
- Monitor patients during infusion treatments for any adverse reactions or complications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation according to established standards.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medication administration, and care protocols.
- Uphold medication infusion standards while delivering compassionate care to all patients.
Experience
- A valid Registered Nurse license is required in Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma.
- Proven experience administering injections and managing infusion therapies.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to patient care.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
