Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse - Infusion to join our team. As a Registered Nurse - Infusion, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients receiving infusion therapy. Duties:
- Administer infusion therapy treatments to patients according to physician orders
- Monitor patients during infusion therapy and assess their response to treatment
- Document patient information, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families about infusion therapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients during their infusion therapy sessions
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington
- Minimum of 3years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an infusion therapy setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy
- Experience administering injections and performing procedures such as spinal taps
- Strong understanding of acute pain management techniques
- Ability to accurately assess vital signs and monitor patient responses to treatment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
- ICD-9 coding knowledge for accurate documentation
- Experience administering injections
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Experience i administering IV drugs
