What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy IV Technician position at Vital Care of North Houston Pharmacy?
We are seeking a Certified IV Technician (IV Certified) to became a part of our team!
The position is open for full-time contract.
Qualifications:
- IV certification
- Hospital or Home infusion experience preferred
- Previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Prepare sterile compounds and other products for patients
- Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
- Process prescriptions using computer software (PrimeRx)
- Label and record dosage information
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
