Job Summary
The Customer Success & Sales Associate is a hybrid customer service and inside sales role responsible for owning a dedicated book of accounts from start to finish. This person will serve as the primary point of contact for their accounts — managing day-to-day order entry, delivering white-glove service, and ensuring accounts remain compliant with contract and program requirements. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives on building long-term relationships while driving account growth.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Account Ownership: Serve as the single point of contact for an assigned portfolio of accounts, managing the full relationship lifecycle from onboarding through ongoing support.
- Order Entry & Processing: Accurately enter, track, and manage orders end-to-end, coordinating with fulfillment and logistics teams to ensure timely, error-free delivery.
- White-Glove Service: Deliver a high-touch, responsive service experience — proactively anticipating account needs, resolving issues quickly, and following up to ensure satisfaction.
- Compliance Management: Monitor accounts for compliance with contract terms, pricing agreements, and program requirements (e.g., GPO/Premier contract compliance); flag and resolve discrepancies.
- Inside Sales & Growth: Identify opportunities to expand product usage within existing accounts, support cross-sell/upsell efforts, and communicate new product offerings.
- Relationship Management: Build trusted, long-term relationships with account stakeholders through regular check-ins, virtual meetings, and responsive communication.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with sales leadership, operations, procurement, logistics, and accounting to ensure a seamless customer experience across the account lifecycle.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate account records and provide regular updates on account health, order status, and compliance to internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in inside sales, account management, or customer service (medical/surgical supply or healthcare distribution experience preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable leading virtual meetings with customers.
- Experience with order entry, CRM, or ERP systems.
- High attention to detail, particularly around contract/compliance requirements and data entry.
- A service-first mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working in regulated healthcare or medical manufacturing environments.
· Knowledge of surgical procedure workflows, infection prevention products, sterilization products, or medical waste management solutions.
