Responsibilities Overview
As a Quality Technician, you will support VITA’s quality and engineering teams by assisting with product testing, inspections, documentation control, and process improvement. You will help ensure that hardware, software, and operational procedures meet quality standards while contributing to problem-solving, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Works closely in collaboration with senior engineers/quality team and development teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Act as a document controller to complete Standard operating procedures, manuals and other processes and procedures...etc, as needed.
- Perform inspections and factory acceptance testing, Conducts product tests, analyzes results, and identifies potential issues or defects.
- Perform incoming and outgoing inspections for various hardware items to ensure all necessary aspects and quality are met.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of quality control methodologies and procedures through process improvement.
- Assist with ISO standards documentation.
- Helps identify the root causes of quality issues and recommends corrective actions.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepares reports on quality issues, test results, and corrective actions/non-conformity reports.
- Perform Quality and Engineering projects regarding data acquisition.
- Perform software testing of our in-house machine operating system and reporting issues.
- Assist Quality team in various projects including but not limited to: incoming and outgoing inspections, AI projects, validation of new parts/ products, ISO requirements fulfillment, international certification requirements, software testing for VITA platforms.
The candidate must be able to work in office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments, perform inspection duties and other tasks required by the quality department, and be able to travel as needed with a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications

- Supports QA processes: testing, analyzing results, and collaborating with engineers to resolve issues
- College education or equivalent preferred
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and testing methodologies
- Practical internship or entry-level experience a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficient with relevant testing and analysis tools
- Professional English communication skills
- Must be able to commute to Orlando
