Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring outbound shipments are processed accurately and on schedule
- Schedule pickups with carriers (trucking companies, freight forwarders) of goods from Vita Warehouse to customers or retail locations, ensuring deliveries are efficient, timely, and cost-effective
- Utilize inventory system Order Time to track inventory levels, process orders, and update shipment statuses
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety standards
- Prepare shipping for each sales order by creating a pick ticket and coordinating with the warehouse.
- Perform location transfer in the system
- Maintain accurate records of all location inventory transfers.
- Maintain inventory accuracy within the system and coordinate the return or disposition of damaged or recalled products.
- Track shipments and resolve delays or issues
- Coordinates with the third-party warehouse to ensure inventory accuracy
- Review and confirm that the paperwork aligns with the incoming and outgoing shipment.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory
- Process and record all incoming component receipts in the system.
- Prepare shipping documents (invoices, office paperwork)
- Collaborate with Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Associate, Label Coordinator, Quality Assurance Manager, and Plant Manager to ensure all products and components are released prior to shipping.
- Provide backup support for all online shipment processing, ensuring continuous daily coverage when the primary employee is unavailable.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in order fulfillment, retail, shipping, logistics, or a related field
- Familiarity with Orde Time or similar platform
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills for coordination between different departments and external logistic partners
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills for counting inventory

Pay: $20.00 - $26.50 per hour
