About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Blending & Weighing Technician to support production at our manufacturing facility in Bogalusa, LA. This is a critical accuracy-focused role responsible for weighing, blending, and preparing ingredients for multiple product formats including honey products, gummies, sachets, and capsules.
This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, precise, and comfortable following documented procedures. Accuracy and consistency matter more than speed.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately weigh raw ingredients according to approved batch records
- Blend and prepare formulations per SOPs and production schedules
- Verify ingredient identity, lot numbers, and quantities
- Complete all documentation clearly and correctly
- Stage blended materials for production runs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and GMP-compliant prep area
- Coordinate with QA for pre- and post-blend checks
- Follow all safety, food handling, and quality procedures
Qualifications
- Manufacturing, food handling, or production experience preferred
- Comfortable working with scales, measurements, and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to work in a regulated manufacturing environment
