Position Summary:

Vita Nova is seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Clinician to support young adults (ages 18–24) at the Spot, our youth drop-in center and supportive housing programs. This role is key to providing trauma-informed mental health services-including individual and group counseling, health and wellness activities, crisis intervention, and community resource coordination-for youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group therapy
• Conduct risk assessments and create treatment/safety plans
• Coordinate referrals and community-based supports
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case files
• Lead wellness activities and youth engagement programs
• Support housing stability through mediation and conflict resolution
• Supervise clinical interns and represent Vita Nova in community partnerships

Qualifications:

• Active Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT); Qualified Supervisor preferred
• Master's in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
• 3-5 years' experience in the mental health/social work field, ideally with young adults
• Knowledge of PBC homelessness system a plus
• Bilingual (Spanish or Creole) preferred
• Trained in CBT, TF-CBT, or other evidence-based modalities
• Strong clinical documentation and client engagement skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must pass Level 2 background check and drug screen
• Valid FL driver's license and reliable transportation required
