Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and thoroughly.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as ingredient prep or portioning when needed.
- Support the catering team by providing clean dishware and assisting with banquet setups.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Help with general cleaning duties in the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and storage spaces.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items for service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations such as bussing tables, basic food preparation, or banquet experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures.
