Position: Production Artist / Graphic Design
Visual Marking Systems, Inc. is currently looking to add a Production Artist to our Team in Twinsburg, OH.
Successful candidate must be self-motivated, work well with within a team, and be able to handle multiple projects under deadline pressure. Duties include: design for OEM, Sign and Fleet (vehicle) graphics.
Position will be heavily focused on fleet and vehicle wrap graphics for both design and production.
Knowledge of the printing industry (screenprint/analog and digital) would be preferred, but not required. Prepress and production art experience will be required to set parts up for manufacturing. An understanding of engineering and the ability to interpret blueprints will be helpful. Graphic Art, Graphic Design, and Web experience would be useful but not required.
We are looking for someone proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign). Corel Draw experience preferred or at least the ability to learn the software quickly as it is our primary prepress tool. Experience with variable data printing/publishing would be advantageous. Additional industry specific software will be taught. The VMS art department works primarily on Windows platforms but MAC experience useful as well.
