Optician / Luxury Sales Associate

 Luxury optometry and eyewear boutiques located throughout Palm Beach County, FL . We are seeking an energetic, professional Optician / Optical Sales Associates to join our team! The perfect applicant should be an experienced, goal-focused Sales Associate who can provide excellent customer service and build long-term relationships with clients. You will act as an ambassador for our brand to help educate and excite others about our mission and values. Prior optical experience is preferred. However, those with luxury sales experience who are willing to be trained in the optical field are welcome to apply.This associate will act as a liaison between our customers and professional staff to provide maximum efficiency in providing high quality care in the process of filling eyeglass prescriptions under the treatment plan mindset.
Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide Support to the location by greeting and offering assistance and information to our customers
• Processing, billing and verification of insurance information
• Assist customers in frame and lens selection
• Optical (eyeglass contact lens) sales and dispensing including but not limited to optical measurements, adjustments and repairs

• Consult with patients to select appropriate products based on the needs of the individual. Actively listen and question the patient/customer regarding life style to aid in proper lens and frame selection.
• Read and interpret eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions as written by the eye care providers, and follow all instructions accordingly.
• Take time to assist in taking frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning. This will ensure a comfortable fit and good vision correction.
• Communicate with patients regarding their insurance benefits and pricing.
• Ensure complete patient confidentiality as established by the practice policies and HIPAA.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Strongly prefer demonstrated sales experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work as a team player.
• Ability to make decisions using industry standards that can be checked with precise measurements of accuracy
