Job Summary
Visual Edge IT is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager (Sr. TPM) to serve as a strategic delivery leader, driving complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from concept to completion. This role blends deep technical expertise with disciplined project execution, ensuring alignment across engineering, data, product, and business stakeholders.
This position is remote but requires 1–2 days per week in-office near one of the following locations: Dallas, Houston, Nashville, Memphis, Charlotte, Indianapolis, or Cleveland/Canton. Travel may be required up to 20%.
The ideal candidate has a proven record of leading enterprise-scale projects, championing agile practices, and translating technical progress into measurable business impact.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic technology initiatives across cloud, data, and application domains.
- Develop integrated project plans, timelines, and resource models aligned to business priorities.
- Facilitate collaboration between engineering, data architecture, product, and operations teams.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations, ensuring contractual and technical alignment.
- Lead daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and steering committee updates.
- Track milestones, dependencies, and budgets using enterprise PMO tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project).
- Identify and resolve delivery risks, blockers, and scope creep with urgency and diplomacy.
- Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and change management protocols.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for executive sponsors, translating technical progress into business outcomes.
- Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across delivery teams.
- 5 years of experience in technical project/program management within enterprise environments.
- Proven success delivering cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, or GCP), data platforms, or enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, budgets >$500k, and multi-phase deployments.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, or modern data lake architectures preferred.
- Experience in asset-heavy industries or with Managed Service Providers preferred.
