Job Summary
* This position is responsible for safely and reliably managing/supervising the operation of CPNPP, while adhering to regulatory and administrative requirements.Job Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned. Directly or through others, the incumbent will:
* Maintain active Senior Reactor Operator License.
* Supervise Operations personnel to ensure safe and reliable operation of Plant equipment.
* Ensure adherence to regulations, policies and procedures.
* Plan, organize, direct and control Plant Operations.
* Maintain constructive relationships with regulatory agencies.
* Maintain constructive relationships with other departments.
* Ensure conservative decision making and nuclear safety.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
* Previous or currently licensed at a nuclear power plant - required
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related Science, or current Reactor or Senior Reactor Operator license.
- Demonstrates good leadership and problem solving skills.
- Exhibits professional work ethics.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to maintain composure during stressful situations.
- Occasional long, irregular hours.
- Use of a PC, computer terminal and/or telephone usually more than 6 hours a day.
- Frequent travel between company facilities, and occasional overnight travel
