Job Summary This position allows for independent work, enabling the identification and performance of tasks as required to meet objectives. Job Description Key Accountabilities •Performs assigned task with minimum guidance from supervision •Organize and analyze issue specific information and make appropriate recommendations •Coordinates assigned projects, studies and initiatives through completion •Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment •Prepare and present routine reports; including recommendations to solve complex issues •Participate in special project and committee assignments as requested, and on occasion lead special projects and committees. •Lead routine to complex problem-solving efforts Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements: •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process/Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution •Professional Engineering license preferred •Min 2 yrs. related job experience in power plant operations/engineering or comparable industries •Final pay grade/level will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications Key Metrics: •Collaborate within the team/department •Maintain effective working relationships within the team/department •Problem-solving techniques to address issues •Effective written and oral communication •Good judgement and willingness to take initiative •Ability to establish effective working relationships across organizational boundaries •Understanding of a fossil-fuel power station •Able to perform cost/benefit analyses •Able to problem–solve complex issues •Able to execute projects/strategies with minimum oversight. •Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands and fingers to operate tools and controls •Able to work extended hours if required **LEVEL OF POSITION WILL BE DETERMINED BY APPLICABLE SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE.
