Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure schedules for turbine generator outages are developed in accordance with fleet/station requirements and standards.
- Interface with other work groups/vendors (onsite and offsite) to identify and collect necessary information in support of schedule development and quality.
- Provide scheduling support for site work groups, site organization or vendors that have activities that need to be coordinated through and integrated into the project schedule.
- Coordinate and schedule activities to minimize equipment/system out of service time to minimize plant risk.
- Communicates schedule issues/conflicts promptly to the Director of Fleet Outages and the Turbine Services Project Manager.
- Attends project stakeholder meetings and reports out on the schedule.
- Assist in the development and updating of the Project Health Reports (PHRs) in preparation for the Project Review Committee (PRC) meetings.
Skills and Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related technical field (preferred) or High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5-10 years of power plant scheduling experience - highly recommended
- Proficient in P6, Microsoft Project and other scheduling tools.
- General understanding of nuclear operation, practices and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the project team.
