What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Counsel position at Vistex?
We are seeking a Corporate Counsel who wants to handle complex legal work for all areas of the company in a fast paced work environment. The main priority will be to provide to the business teams legal advice and assess risk and assist in the negotiation of a variety of corporate and commercial agreements. This position will report to the Senior Corporate Counsel.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, including professional services agreements, software licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, etc.
- Identifying contractual risk and advising business teams on various legal risks/issues
- Collaborate with other departments such as Finance, Human Resources, the IT Security Team, and Sales and Marketing Teams in connection with contract drafting.
- Participate in negotiation calls alongside the Vistex commercial team
- Performs other duties as assigned
The compensation for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 annually. Base pay will vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s location, job-related knowledge, skills and work experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus.
