Role Overview
The HR Business Partner will act as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on HR resource. This role supports leadership in aligning HR initiatives with business goals while managing day-to-day HR operations. Responsibilities include workforce planning, compliance, onboarding, employee relations, and integration of acquired companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategies.
- Partner with acquired companies to integrate employees, policies, and culture during mergers and acquisitions.
- Manage onboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, compliance training, and I-9 verification.
- Resolve employee relations issues, coach managers on performance management, and ensure policy adherence.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; assist with audits and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and deliver training programs for skill development, leadership, and compliance.
- Use HR metrics and data analysis to identify trends and recommend solutions for engagement and retention.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of HR experience in multi-site or fast-growing environments.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws, and HRIS systems (ADP experience preferred).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to handle confidential matters professionally.
- Experience with onboarding, employee relations, and M&A integration.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% and work on-site as needed.
