Job Description
Schedule: Sun - Thur ( 2:30 pm - 11:00pm OT as needed) Interview with Small Parcel Manager
Under general supervision, the Coordinator, Wave Planning is responsible for the planning, review and scheduling of daily orders and waves within the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Collaborate with warehouse management and customer service to balance work flow and meet delivery targets. Observes all safety and regulatory standards and ensures quality of work product while working in an efficient and timely manner.
Plan out daily work to be completed each shift by compiling customer orders into workable "wave groups" for the order pickers. This includes identifying orders according to daily transit schedules and planning & scheduling all weekly outbound orders.
Release work to the queue in a manner that ensures maximum levels of productivity while ensuring work balance across the warehouse zones. Monitor each wave and ensure all orders are completed daily.
dentify and resolve inconsistencies with customer orders.
Communicate and work closely with local OpCo management & customer service (CORE) to resolve order release issues, expedite rush orders etc. Answer customer service email and handle special requests.
Prepare & distribute daily reports, including excpetion reports, to local management and customer service.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and policy.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
Required Experience:
1 – 3 years in warehouse or distribution related experience and/or training. Knowledge of WMS
