Position: Community Integrations Specialist
Location: Richmond, CA
Hours: Monday-Friday 60 hours a month
Compensation: $19.50/hour plus great benefits!

The Community Integrations Specialist: is a part of a training and development program. This position works with Asian adults with disabilities both in the home, and out in the community. Individuals in this position help to assist and support program participants in various activities tailored to participant's interest, ability and needs.
Activities include:
DMV Records Check, Background Check, Fingerprinting, Health Screen, TB Test, 10 panel Drug Screen, Covid 19 Records, Reference check and more

- Recreation/Leisure: outdoor activities, community events, exercising, shopping
- Educational activities: money management, budgeting, safety awareness
- Activities to enhance social skills and community involvement
- Mobility training, transport consumers
- Domestic skills, household chores, ordering food, and more!
- Track each participant's progress toward reaching their individual goals, and act as their case manager.
- Develop, review, and evaluate individual program plans
- Records and report writing
- Communicate with family members, care providers, case managers
- Develop and maintain community contact
- Bilingual:, Fluency in English and one of the following languages:
- Cambodian, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Chinese:
- Should be highly skilled in coaching, time management, cooperation/teamwork, developing positive professional relationships
- Basic computer skills including emailing and Microsoft Word
- Enthusiasm for VistAbility’s mission!
- Valid CA driver license
- Good driving record
