Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Window Cleaner to join our professional cleaning team. This role involves cleaning windows of various types, including residential and commercial buildings, ensuring a streak-free, spotless finish. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial or custodial services and be comfortable working at heights using equipment such as ladders. Responsibilities
- Clean windows of commercial and residential properties, both interior and exterior surfaces
- Operate cleaning tools and equipment, including squeegees, scrubbers, and scaffolding or scissor lifts when necessary
- Ensure all work areas are safe and adhere to safety protocols, especially when working at heights
- Remove dirt, grime, and other debris from glass surfaces to achieve a streak-free finish
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good working condition
- Follow established safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial cleaning environments
- Experience climbing ladders or other height-access equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is desirable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
