Licensed Veterinary Technician

LVT Needed for New Urgent Care/Emergency Hospital Opening July 2026 in Round Rock, TX

Healing Hearts Animal Urgent Care is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician who is confident in their technical skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings empathy and professionalism to every patient and client interaction. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills in urgent care while helping define the culture and standards of a brand-new hospital.

This is a Full-Time position with a 4-day workweek. We are open Monday-Friday 1pm-10pm and 9am-7pm on Saturday & Sunday.

What You’ll Do:

• Mentor and train newer Veterinary Assistants, supporting their growth in technical skills and confidence
• Fully utilize your LVT license in a fast-paced, urgent, and emergency care environment
• Assist with and support advanced procedures, including orthopedics and other surgical cases
• Take an active role in shaping protocols, workflows, and team culture
• Contribute to building a positive, supportive, and engaged workplace from the ground up

Full-Time Benefits and Compensation**

• Compensation: $26-$30/hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus Package: $2,000, based on experience and licensure
• CE Allowance: $500 for first year & $1000 every year following

Minimum Qualifications & Skillset:

• Active LVT license in the state of Texas (required)
• Strong technical skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and emotional intelligence
• Interest in urgent care or emergency medicine (experience is a plus, but not required)
• Positive attitude and a desire to grow professionally
