Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, responding promptly to emergencies
- Conduct regular pool maintenance, including cleaning and chemical testing
- Assist with guest services, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed
- Perform heavy lifting tasks related to pool cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, pool conditions, and maintenance activities
Requirements
- Previous lifeguard experience preferred
- Current certifications in CPR and First Aid required
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if necessary
- Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures, including cleaning and chemical balancing
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for equipment handling
- Must be attentive, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
