VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Program Manager to support a NAVSEA Ship Acquisition Program in the DMV Area.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
Manage a contract providing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Information (GFI) management in support of a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP). This will include acquisition, technical analysis, and logistics support for new construction and sustainment acquisition programs. The PM will manage a team providing Participating Acquisition Resource Manager (PARM) program support to include GFE acquisition, delivery and production management, ship directives and schedules, configuration management, financial planning and execution, and program management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 15 years of program/project management experience in DoD/Navy acquisition
- 5 years of supervisory experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel
- Expertise in DoD/Navy acquisition policies, processes, equipment integration, and program life-cycle program support
- Experience delivering GFE and CFE for ship platforms and combat systems
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders across geographically dispersed teams
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and program tracking tools
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Science discipline
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Experience with DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process)
- Experience with Naval Science and Technology (S&T) Strategies and Future Naval Capabilities (FNC) programs
- Experience with Foreign Military Sales
