What are the responsibilities and job description for the Military Real Property GFEBS Specialist position at VISTA Technology Services?
VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Real Property GFEBS Specialist to support our Army Materiel Command (AMC) customer located at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville,AL. This position will report onsite 5 days/week (M-F).
The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented company and will provide onsite facility and installation support services to Headquarters, Army Materiel Command (AMC) and subordinate commands and installations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise within AMC on real property inventory, inspection, documentation and recording within the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) in accordance with appropriate Army regulations.
- Recommend improvements to real property inventory policy and management and assist with the implementation of approved solutions.
- Develop command-level tools and internal controls to monitor and improve the accuracy of the real property inventory.
- Perform command-level audit assistance to Army installation real property personnel to ensure data integrity and regulatory conformance.
- Conduct in-person and virtual staff assistance visits to AMC installations to provide training and assistance with GFEBS data entry and reconciliations.
- Develop requirements and assist with the creation of real property reports for senior managers.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience supporting Army Real Property offices
- 2 years of experience with DoD/Army real property GFEBS data entry and reconciliations
- Knowledge of Army real property audit readiness requirements and controls
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and SharePoint in a business office environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong research and analysis skills
- Able to travel 1 week/month
- Active DoD Secret Clearance

- Experience working at an Army general officer level headquarters
