Vista Specialty Hospital

 

Phlebotomist Summary:

Performs venipunctures on hospital patients.  Assists in Clinical Laboratory as needed.  Responsibilities include blood specimen collection including blood cultures and crossmatch Blood Bank samples. 

Qualifications:

Education: High School Graduate with phlebotomy training

Licenses/Certification: Current phlebotomy certification through an approved certification agency. 
                                       Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.  
                                       BLS Certification required.

Experience: Previous Experience as a Phlebotomist Required
