The Safety Consultant will support and enhance client safety programs by primarily conducting on-site safety inspections and delivering engaging safety training. This role requires a practical understanding of OSHA standards, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site safety inspections and jobsite evaluations, primarily within the construction industry
- Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and informal field coaching to client personnel
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally to project team and workers
- Apply OSHA standards and client requirements to real‑world jobsite conditions
- Coordinate with internal team members to support client safety objectives
Qualifications & Experience
- Approximately 2–5 years of experience in safety, loss control, risk management, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards, with an emphasis on construction safety
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in training and client-facing situations
- Proven ability to interpret and apply technical and regulatory requirements in a practical jobsite environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a home-based office setting
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
