LAUNDRY PERSONNEL (69892)

The Laundry Aide is responsible for ensuring that all resident linens, clothing, and facility laundry are cleaned, sanitized, and distributed in a timely and professional manner. This role supports infection control standards and contributes to a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry items including resident clothing, bed linens, and towels
• Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines safely and efficiently
• Follow proper infection control and sanitation procedures
• Label and organize residents’ personal clothing to prevent loss
• Inspect laundry for damage and report items needing repair or replacement
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
• Monitor and restock laundry supplies as needed
• Follow all facility safety policies and procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required)
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–30 pounds
