What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd Key position at Vista Paint Corporation?
Vista Paint Corporation, a leading manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of high quality paints and sundries, is seeking a 3rd Key for our Rancho Cordova and Rocklin retail stores.
The 3rd Key Associate works flexible hours and shifts scheduled and determined by business needs at the time. This means you must be available to work on Saturdays.
- Acts on behalf of and performs most duties of Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
- Acts as a key associate for customer and store staff questions and concerns.
- Exhibits ability to lead and provide direction in terms of store operations and personnel development.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Opens and closes store, setting and deactivating alarm as required.
- Receives and resolves customer complaints, and provides excellent Customer Service to build overall and individual sales of store products.
- Handles customer complaints and escalations.
- Advises customers concerning quality and applications of products.
- Demonstrates hardware and spray equipment.
- Rings sales at cash register, including receiving and tendering of cash.
- Insures bank deposits are made on daily basis.
- Insures cash in register is counted daily.
- Closes daily sales records and runs daily sales reports.
- Coordinates material transfers of products from one store to another or from factory to store.
- Tints and eye matches paint.
- Conducts inspections at customer homes or job sites.
- Coordinates stocking shelves and stock room according to plans.
- Receives and fills telephone orders from stock or orders special items.
- Communicates with Outside Sales force.
- Assures the store is clean and orderly with regard to sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and cleaning restrooms.
- Makes deliveries to customer job sites.

Requirements
Must have a clean driving record.
