Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Patient Experience
Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment.
Manage patient check-in/check-out process, including paperwork and consents.
Clearly communicate treatment processes, appointment expectations, and financial options.
Scheduling & Coordination
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, optimizing provider schedules.
Coordinate referrals from general dentists and other specialists.
Follow up with patients regarding upcoming appointments and treatment plans.
Insurance & Financials
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits for specialty procedures.
Prepare and present treatment estimates; discuss financial arrangements with patients.
Collect patient payments and accurately post transactions.
Administrative Support
Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and route calls appropriately.
Support the clinical team with documentation, communication, and other office needs.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a dental front office preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
