Experienced Painter

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, reliable Painter to complete interior and exterior painting projects at our assisted living community. This is a temporary, part-time position that will continue until the painting project is completed. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, maintains a clean and safe work environment, and is respectful of residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as needed.
• Paint interior walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and common areas.
• Paint exterior building surfaces and other designated outdoor areas.
• Protect furniture, flooring, landscaping, and surrounding surfaces during painting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and facility policies.
• Complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Work respectfully in an occupied assisted living environment with minimal disruption to residents.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional painting experience (interior and exterior).
• Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely use ladders and painting equipment.

Employment Requirements:
Employment is contingent upon successfully completing:

• Criminal background clearance
• Pre-employment health screening
• Tuberculosis (TB) test/clearance

Schedule:

• Part-time
• Temporary position until the painting project is completed
• Flexible schedule based on project needs

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
