Job Title: Production Team Lead
Reports To: Focus Factory Coordinator/Manager, Operations Manager
Direct reports: Production team
Key relationships: Production Team, FFC/FFM, Operations Manager, Facilities Supervisor, VP of Ops
Role Purpose:
The position takes charge of planning, directing, and coordinating all manufacturing processes for their assigned team, while adhering to established production procedures. They will receive guidance from their respective supervisor and actively contribute to scheduling, planning, and training initiatives for the team members under their responsibility.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Production experience
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Basic MS Office experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good attendance record
- Vista Core Competencies
- Essential attributes: basic math skills, attention to detail, patient, planner
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists with developing and maintaining the selection, training, and motivation of all production personnel.
- Provides feedback relative to employee performance.
- Helps facilitate production schedule to ensure on-time delivery on jobs for which the respective team is responsible.
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the equipment and tools available for the team's production builds, exhibiting proficiency in their usage.
- Helps manage and reduce scrap as a percentage of sales.
- Oversees production builds, ensures products are built per required specifications and to Vista Quality standards per our PPM goals for designated teams.
- Provides accurate inventory counts to assist with inventory management and manufacturing material controls.
- Follows all requirements to support Vista Quality Objectives
