We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead renovation and repositioning projects across our hotel portfolio — starting with a flagship renovation project in Sacramento.
Role Overview
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading full-cycle renovation and construction projects for hotel properties. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, contractor management, reporting, and execution, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to brand standards while minimizing operational disruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead renovation and construction projects for hotel assets, beginning with a major Sacramento renovation
- Oversee contractors, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, RFIs, change orders, and construction documentation
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, brand representatives, inspectors, and ownership
- Ensure compliance with codes, permits, safety regulations, and brand standards
- Conduct regular site visits, monitor progress, and resolve delays or issues proactively
- Manage project budgets, cost reports, vendor invoices, and schedule updates
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders
- Deliver projects on time and within budget while minimizing impacts on hotel operations
Qualifications
- 5 years of construction project management experience
- Experience with hotel renovations or commercial interior renovations strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage contractors, budgets, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with architects, engineers, inspectors, and permitting authorities
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, cost control, and safety processes
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel to project sites as required (West Coast)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
