Job Description
Southwest Spine and Pain Center, a leader in comprehensive pain management, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic team. This exciting opportunity involves providing exceptional care across our clinics in Mesquite, NV, St. George, Cedar City, and potentially Richfield, UT. Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Examine patients, obtain medical histories, address concerns, and answer questions to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat pain-related injuries, illnesses, and disorders, developing individualized treatment plans.
- Interventional Procedures: Perform cervical, thoracic, and lumbar injections, radiofrequency ablations, and spinal cord stimulator trials and implants.
- Diagnostic Testing: Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, explaining results clearly to patients.
- Counseling: Advise patients on diet, hygiene, preventative healthcare, and lifestyle changes to support pain management and overall wellness.
- Chart Management: Update patient charts with current findings, treatments, and recommendations.
- Medication and Therapy: Prescribe medications or therapies as part of comprehensive treatment plans.
- Procedure Explanation: Clearly explain medical procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort.
- Collaboration: Consult with physicians, refer patients to specialists when necessary, and work closely with nurses, assistants, and other healthcare staff.
- Compliance: Adhere to medical laws, including HIPAA, ensuring patient confidentiality and ethical practice.
- Travel: Provide care across multiple clinic locations (Mesquite, NV; St. George, Cedar City, and potentially Richfield, UT), adapting to the needs of each community.

Schedule and Travel
- Full-Time Position: Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility based on clinic needs.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Utah and Nevada.
- Experience: Proficiency in cervical/thoracic/lumbar injections, radiofrequency ablations, and spinal cord stimulator trials and implants.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with Kyphoplasty and spinal cord trials/implants is a plus; training will be provided for motivated candidates eager to learn these procedures.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and patient counseling skills to build trust and rapport.
- Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in multiple clinic settings, serving diverse patient populations.
