- Perform routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors
- Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of hallways, resident rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces
- Follow established cleaning schedules and floor maintenance procedures
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with infection control standards and safety regulations
- Report equipment issues or maintenance needs to the Environmental Services Director
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous floor care or environmental services experience is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of floor care equipment and cleaning techniques is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
