Vista Equity Partners is seeking a highly skilled and agile Consulting UX Developer to rapidly prototype and develop user experiences for AI agents, conversational AI, and chatbot interfaces. This role will be instrumental in driving AI innovation across our portfolio companies by translating complex technical concepts into intuitive and engaging user experiences. As a consultant, you will work on a project basis, rapidly iterating on designs and prototypes to support proof-of-concept and production pilots.
Responsibilities:
Rapid Prototyping:
- Develop interactive prototypes of AI agent interfaces, conversational flows, and chatbot interactions, focusing on speed and agility.
- Utilize rapid prototyping tools and techniques to quickly visualize and test design concepts.
- Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes based on project requirements.
Conversational UI Design:
- Design user-centered conversational experiences for AI agents and chatbots, ensuring natural and intuitive interactions.
- Develop conversational flows, dialog scripts, and interaction models.
- Apply best practices for conversational UI design, including natural language understanding and response generation.
AI Agent Interface Development:
- Design and develop user interfaces for AI agents, focusing on clarity, efficiency, and usability.
- Create visual representations of agent actions, responses, and decision-making processes.
- Ensure seamless integration of AI agent interfaces with existing portfolio company systems.
User Research & Testing:
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Analyze user data to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and product managers to translate technical requirements into user-friendly interfaces.
- Communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Work on multiple projects in parallel.
Technology Proficiency:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in AI, conversational UI, and UX development.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate UX tools and platforms for AI agent and chatbot development.
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX development, with a focus on conversational UI and AI agent interfaces.
- Strong portfolio showcasing experience in rapid prototyping and user-centered design.
- Proficiency in UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., ProtoPie, Framer, InVision).
- Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and conversational AI concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Consulting experience is highly valued.
- Experience in the rapid prototyping of AI based interfaces.
