Analyst, AI Program Management

Position Summary

The Value Creation Team (VCT) at Vista Equity Partners is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to support the firm’s AI Program Management efforts within the VCT. This role will drive priority AI initiatives and provide critical leverage to the Director of AI & Impact in advancing Vista’s AI strategy, overseeing program execution across practice groups, portfolio companies, and leadership forums.

The Analyst will play a key role in managing workflows, synthesizing insights, measuring outcomes, and driving cross-functional coordination. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of AI innovation, portfolio enablement, and executive engagement. This role can be based in Austin, Chicago, or NYC and is for an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Support Implementation at Scale: Drive coordination of AI initiatives and frameworks that provide structure, benchmarks, and best practices across the portfolio.
• Enable Strategic Alignment: Ensure portfolio companies are connected to Vista’s AI vision through CEO forums, executive communications, and consistent reporting.
• Program Management & Reporting: Support internal coordination of AI program updates, tracking progress across practice groups and portfolio companies.
• Knowledge Sharing & Communications Develop and manage AI communication strategy, including newsletters, enablement resources, and event content. Capture and share best practices, case studies, and success stories to accelerate adoption across the portfolio.
• Strategic Initiatives & Special Projects: Enhance knowledge management systems and infrastructure to support the scaling of AI priority initiatives across Vista.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional experience in management consulting, investment, corporate strategy, or program/project management (exposure to SaaS, technology and/or AI highly preferred).
• Proven ability to manage multiple, complex workstreams with precision and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-ready materials and synthesizing inputs across diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate high-level strategy into clear, actionable plans and deliverables.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, build relationships, and influence without direct authority.
• Familiarity with AI trends, enterprise software, and collaboration tools; comfort working with new platforms and frameworks.
• Proactive learner with interest in emerging technologies, especially AI, and enthusiasm for driving adoption at scale.

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $75,000-90,000.  Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.  Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
