X-Ray Technician

Vista Complete Care is a Family Practice/Urgent Care in need of an outgoing personnel to join our energetic health care team. We are currently accepting resumes for both full and part time positions. We seek highly motivated, professional individuals who are passionate about the healthcare field.

Responsibilities:

Operate on-site x-ray system and Imaging Pilot as well as imaging software (Experity)

Obtain quality x-rays using proper positioning and radiation exposure

Uphold the standards of our Radiation Protection Policies and Safety

Set schedule of Friday 7:15 am to 5:45 pm and Saturday 8:15 am to 4:45 pm

Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patient’s chart

Perform procedures such as urine analysis, urine dips, strep tests, EKG's, spirometry, fingersticks, injections, nebulizer treatments, sterile tray setups, etc.

Give instructions to patients as ordered by physician or physician assistant

Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed is available in patients’ medical records prior to their appointment

Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required

Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls

Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, cold sterilization fluid change, etc.)

Assist physician and physician assistant in exam rooms

Limited or Full X-Ray Tech License required
